Service
The Aggie Service Program at Texas A&M pairs students seeking leadership opportunities with a diverse team of undergraduates seeking community service opportunities. The program focuses on the professional development of team leaders who cultivate community partnerships and civic competencies of their team. By integrating service and education, this program promotes the creation of long-term, mutually-beneficial partnerships among teams of Aggies and their community partners. Participation is open to Texas A&M students at all academic levels in all programs of study.
The Aggie Service Program is a university-wide professional development program jointly administered with the complementary Aggie Research Program (aggieresearch.tamu.edu), a Texas A&M Tier One Program. This professional development program has partnered with LAUNCH, OGAPS, and the Center for Teaching Excellence, and has supported over 1,000 teams in 12 colleges since 2016.
